Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke (born 6 August ) are identical twins in the Nollywood industry popularly known as the Aneke twins.[1] They were born in the southeastern part of Nigeria, Enugu State and they are the last issue to the Aneke family.

The Aneke Sisters Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke, are Nigerian identical twin actresses known for their contributions to the Nigerian film industry, also known as Nollywood. Early life and education

Chidinma and Chidiebere were born on 6 August in Enugu State, Nigeria into a polygamous home of three wives. They had a wealthy father who ensured rosy upkeep for them, but things changed when they lost him, and his properties were divided among extended family members.

They acquired their Primary School Disappearing Certificate and Secondary school certificates in Enugu State.

Identical twins Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke are popular faces in Nollywood. They have been featured in numerous Nigerian movies for over a decade and are known for films such as Imperfect Society, Dangerous Heart, and Battle for the Kingdom. Besides being actressesthe Aneke twins are filmmakers, models, and internet personalities. The Aneka twins began their acting career in but did not attain stardom until when they were featured in Desperate Twins.

After their primary and secondary training, Chidinma and Chidiebere proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsuka where they graduated with Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance respectively.[3]

Career

The Aneke twins joined the Nollywood industry in and acted in the show ‘Ebuka’ which was their first movie.

The movie ‘Ebuka’ gave them an edge in Nollywood. In ,[4] the Aneke twins rose to fame with the movie ‘Desperate Twins’ which earned them the nomination for The Most Promising Acts to Monitor at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award.

They have acted in over 80 movies.
